The Small Block Ford V8 Type II Power Steering Pump Add-On Bracket Kit is designed to facilitate the installation of a compatible Type II power steering pump on Small Block Ford V8 engine applications. This kit works with select Vintage Air compressor bracket kits and is engineered for use with Vintage Air power steering pumps, providing an integrated solution for custom accessory drive configurations.

Installation Requirements and Technical Specifications:

• Required Compressor Bracket Kit: Must be used with Vintage Air compressor bracket kit 131302 or 131310 for proper mounting.

• V-Belt Sizing: Due to variations in accessory configurations and pulley diameters, measure the installed pulleys to determine the correct V-belt length.

• Power Steering Pressure Line: Vintage Air hardline part number 852015 or 852016 is recommended for the high-pressure side of the power steering system.

• Power Steering Line Modifications: Some engine applications may require modification or custom plumbing of the power steering pressure and return lines during installation.

• Compatible Power Steering Pumps: Designed for use with Vintage Air power steering pump part numbers 851001 (pump with integral reservoir) or 851002 (pump without reservoir).

• Power Steering Pulley Compatibility: The included or specified pulley is designed for a power steering pump with a 0.6647-inch shaft diameter. Verify pump shaft dimensions before installation.
